I am a non-hipster living in Berkeley, California and loving the friendly bay-area weather and proliferation of great food, books and smiles. Since getting engaged and planning a vineyard-feathers-and-twigs-themed wedding to my high school sweetheart I have rediscovered my artsy side (thank you wedding industry). I took several letterpress courses in college and have never gotten over the beauty of old-school printing. I love paper, ink, fresh design and the WOW factor! I think my letterpress machine is the second most beautiful thing I have ever seen (the boy is the first) and I am thrilled by the stunning art that comes out of the metal jungle of it. It is the sweetest form of alchemy. I am the words, style, and details in our dynamic duo and I love the merging of our talents in this press shop. I live with Alex in Berkeley and am slowly getting used to the city life. I’m passionate about the environment and reducing our carbon footprint as much as possible. I channel my interest in environmental issues to green our press shop in new ways, such as using cotton-based paper products. I love the outdoors, rock climbing, and beautiful first printings of modern classics. My focus is making sure our work is of the highest-quality and that each piece receives the utmost attention. I am the technical, right-brained precision required for our fusion of the old (the press) and new technology (the Adobe Illustrator) that allows us to create the beautiful works of art that we do.
